Support chat
When you start the chat or respond to us, we use a technical cookie to keep your conversation available. We store your messages and any name or email you choose to provide to answer your enquiry and take steps at your request before a purchase. Chat works without analytics consent. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or sensitive information. Contact details entered in chat are not verified.
Optional visit analytics
Clicking Accept in Cookies & Privacy allows us to associate pages viewed, approximate country/city, device/browser type, referring website, visits and time in a visible tab with a random visitor number. We use this to understand visits and offer relevant support, including starting a chat. We do not record screen contents, keystrokes or checkout form values. URLs are stored without query parameters. Simply continuing to browse does not give consent. Necessary only refuses these optional analytics.
Cookies and retention
caffivio_analytics stores your choice for 6 months. The secure technical __Host-caffivio_chat cookie lasts up to 30 days after a conversation or consent starts and links this browser to its conversation. Visit history is retained for up to 30 days, messages and contact details for up to 90 days. Expired data is removed during routine chat service requests. Cart, account and payment cookies remain necessary for the functions you request.
Recipients and location
Chat records are stored on our hosting server and are available only to authorised store support staff. Our hosting provider processes the stored data; Cloudflare handles website traffic and supplies approximate IP-based geography where available. IP addresses are not displayed in the support dashboard. A one-way hash is kept for up to one hour to limit chat abuse. No precise device location is requested.
Change your choice and your rights
Use Privacy & cookies at the bottom of the screen at any time to accept or refuse analytics. Refusing stops optional tracking and removes the browsing history associated with the current browser; support messages remain for handling your enquiry. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, object to processing where applicable, and lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. Orders and accounts
Information you enter for an order, payment, delivery, customer account or return is used to provide that requested service and meet applicable obligations. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider. This notice describes the newly added chat and optional visitor analytics; it does not change your purchase or return conditions.
